Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted May 27, 2011 Looks like the Wings signed him per CapGeek. Anyone know what the plan is for him the next couple years? Next season he'll be in the SEL, the season after that if he bulks up just a bit more and improves his skating slightly, he should be in GRap with Pulu and Jarnkrok. Jusek 437 Report post Posted May 27, 2011 Good to hear about his signing. He has great hockey sense and vision but he just need to hit the gym and improve his shot. 1 mjlegend reacted to this
Majsheppard 203 Report post Posted May 27, 2011 One Rafalski retires, another Rafalski is signed. Take a big step this year Adam, I want to see you on the second PP in four years in Detroit.
MatlockLink 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2011 He could be the next Rafalski or the next Lebda, depending on how he develops. I think he will get a shot at the NHL in 3-4 years. I've seen him alot here in Sweden. I'd say he's more like Kronwall in his style. He's way more physical then Rafalski. Great skater both with puck and without puck. AND he likes the big open ice hits.

Great skater both with puck and without puck. AND he likes the big open ice hits. In terms of how he'll be in the NHL I'm not sure we'll see that from him all that much if he makes it. That style of play can have a tremendous amount of wear and tear that is wayyyy more significant in the NHL as opposed to the Elitserien.
Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted September 20, 2011 I'm hoping he's a little bit like Tobias Enstrom.
MatlockLink 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2011 I'm hoping he's a little bit like Tobias Enstrom. That is probably as close as you can get. Almqvist might be a bit more aggressive though. He know's when to "explode" and not.
