Yeah thats not acceptable it probably will get rescheduled

Ack...you're probably right. When I was down there I forgot my car is all decorated with a big white winged wheel smack dab in the middle of my rear window with all the Swedes last names and numbers and the back side windowsl with names and numbers too. :scared: I got a few "Go Pens" but also some "Go Wings" :D. Glad no one did anything to my car. So glad to get back to Wings country when we crossed into Michigan!!!

Im ready for pre-season revenge. Babcock has expressed how much he does not care about pre-season games though. I think the Pens coach may feel differently. Lets see if Babs takes this serious, or if he thinks of it as just another pre-season game.

I'll be streaming the Wings game again over at Red Wings Live

I should be covering every game just like last season. I also hope to stream Griffins games, however it depends on the cost and I may need a few more donations to cover it. That's up in the air for now, but I'll keep people informed.

It's hard to take this as a chance for a revenge as the teams don't even have their A rosters on the ice.

That's kind of an oxymoron.

Winning a meaningless preseason game where both teams won't have their best guys in the lineup hardly constitutes revenge.

Mainly I'm just interested in getting to see these young guys for the Wings play some more.

I don't think you'll see Sid in the lineup. Last I heard when I was down in the Pittsburgh area this past weekend was he had a groin pull.

Tsk tsk...On the other hand, it's good to know he has one, eh?

The Pittsburgh Penguins traveled to Detroit without Sidney Crosby, who will miss today's exhibition game against the Detroit Red Wings (5 PM, Fox Sports Detroit/FSN Plus if there's a conflict with the Tigers game, currently in the bottom of the eighth inning), and the Penguins' website states that both Ruslan Fedotenko and Evgeni Malkin will sit out the game as well:

Wow, Babcock confuses me. Pitt has Bissonnette who fights in almost every game in the line-up trying to make the team, Godard in, and we have zero guys to 'keep the flies off'. Note to Babcock- these guys are more likely to throw big checks and scrap preseason than regular. Zzzzz.

Mr. Holland must've told Babcock that the children didn't like witnessing that May fight. Even though it's ratest one of the highest fights of the year on hockeyfights.com.

I know I'm probably in the minority here but I'd rather see Andy Delmore as our 7th dman over Meech. I haven't been all that impress by Meech for a little while now. He's small, constantely gets his shots block and seems to struggle in his own end against bigger players. Delmore is a little bigger, has a rocket shot, has more nhl experience, is RIGHT HANDED and can at the very least be a power play specialist on the second unit when he does play. Seriously, who would you rather see at the point on the power play....Williams or Delmore? I'm not saying Delmore should be a regular but I really think he should be our 7th guy

I agree. Meech's greatest asset is that he is an interchangable forward/defensman. Now that we have Abdelkader, Maltby, and possibly May fighting for a 13th forward spot, we no longer need his depth up front. Meech still has more nhl experience than the likes of Kindl or some of our other prospects so at the very least he does provide depth, but I would like him to be below Delmore on that depth list.

In any event I would be surprised to see Meech in a Wings uniform next year.
