cjm502 165 Report post Posted September 28, 2009 After tonight I have no problem with Willy on the point. He seemed to play the position very well. And talk about depth! Filp and Leino on the 3rd line! We should have no problem getting points out of that line. Our 3rd line is good enough to be some teams 1st line. Im also very happy with Z and Dats being split, but I do not think Homer is still a 1st line player although he has looked good this pre-season.
rage 24 Report post Posted September 28, 2009 That lineup is looking a lot better to me today than it would have 2 months ago. This is great. 3rd line looks awesome for a 3rd line. And like having Big Bert w/ Zetterberg for sure.
Heroes of Hockeytown 694 Report post Posted September 28, 2009 Amazing how they still have three legit scoring lines. I thought we'd never see anything like it again after last season and the mass exodus and so little cap room.

Buppy 1,720 Report post Posted September 28, 2009 Even so, Helm and Emmerton are on short term IR and thus the Long Term Injury Exemption cannot be used on them. Perhaps sent to GR? Neither has to pass waivers, so no reason I can think of to keep them on the roster.
PierreC 0 Report post Posted September 28, 2009 I think Jason William look very good today. You can see that he is much better than Sammy on the PP. Only Patrick Eaves look questionnable. I dont think the brass signed him to play on the fourth line and if they play him there its hes been a dissapointment. I wouldnt be surprise to see him being release later in the season when Lilja return (if). Babs said Helm is here to stay and with Lilja and Helm in the line-up we are over the cap. Thank God the brass has a few weeks the figure it out.
