I have little clue if they are doing anything like this in Detroit, however in LA I've found a great deal.

There's a group doing these speed dating events out here (never been to one, but am curious). They are offering a $44 package to go meet people for 60-90min in the staples center before the game and then allow ya to stay and watch a LA Kings/CBJ's Game.
