Jamie Tardif named captain of the Griffins.

The alternates are:

McGrath
Janik
Oulahen
Abdelkader

Wonder what will happen when Oulahen returns and whether he's named captain but for now it's Jamie's job. Seems like a real hard worker, will stand up for his teammates so it's well deserved.

Surprised to see McGrath as an A, especially ahead of Emmerton and Janik over Kindl is also a surprise.

Grats to Tardif he will do well. Griffins must be planning on Justin going up and down to not get it IMO.

This tells me that he isn't in Detroit's plans to be honest. They are not going to want a player down in GR that will be spending half the year in Detroit. *Abdelkader* I would say that after Abdelkader, that May and Emmerton would be ahead of him on the call up list. and the odds of there being 3 players on the IR. Slim to none. Because we all know that Meech will be plugged in quite a bit.
