Hack & Whack Rule! 160 Report post Posted October 4, 2009 The world has not, in fact, come to an end. Whatever superior being that rules this world has a lot in store for us. I'm pretty sure there will be at least seven more plagues visited upon the Earth...and that's for the Mr. Hockey bulls*** jersey. May God have mercy on the human race. DMAC 25 18 Report post Posted October 4, 2009 That's not Crosby's jersey, it's only his number. The name is so far off.. very true, it should be either a 19 or 9 in a red and white jersey

EuroTwin 240 Report post Posted October 4, 2009 *insert horrifying picture here* :looney: Ugh, yep that really is an epic fail. Oh my god. Oh my god I may throw up a little. I'm not a fan of Crosby, but I think he would have the decency of thinking this guy is going too far. Crosby has a way to go before he's even near the caliber of player that Gordie Howe is. That is absolutely horrifying and I would cause an epic scene if I ever saw that in real life.

deetroit dario 27 Report post Posted October 4, 2009 (edited) I just threw up a little in my mouth... see...but that doesn't do us any good. now if someone were to track that guy down and throw up in HIS mouth a little (actually, a lot!)...THAT would be productive. for now, i'll delude myself with the thought that he's just a bad speller, and its supposed to say "mr. hokey". a little more apt, that.... tingnoel 4 Report post Posted October 4, 2009 (edited) I think I just had a mild seizure. But I did find a Steve Yzerman video last night that might make you guys feel a little better. I tried to embed it but my computer isn't loading youtube today, so here's a link- http://hockeytownstatic.blogspot.com/2009/10/wtf-sunday.html Edited October 4, 2009 by tingnoel

edicius 3,269 Report post Posted October 4, 2009 That guy should have all hockey-watching/enjoying privileges taken away from him. It's bad enough seeing a guy his age wearing the baby blue Pens jersey. But to try and equate one of the greatest players of all time with a once-lucky crybaby? There isn't enough fail on the internet.

VM1138 1,921 Report post Posted October 4, 2009 Wow, that's almost as disturbing as that gang beating video out of Chicago earlier this week. Seriously, looking through that site, why do people do that to jerseys? They're so expensive, either get one that's blank on the back or get a standard one with a name. Don't try to get cute with the name and number, beacuse most of the time people won't even "get" what you mean when you do make it cute. The J. LBrunner one made me chuckle a bit. Is it really that difficult to fit his name on there? Especially considering you already wasted three spaces for "J. ?" Again though, overweight guy in short shorts wearing a baby blue 87 Penguins jersey with "Mr. Hockey" on the back? That sounds like the typical Penguins fan to me, unaware of hockey history. Pasha13 0 Report post Posted October 5, 2009 He looks like Ron Jeremy...what a total ding dong, he was wearing this at a Blues vs. Wild game, too... Anyone who would wear such a thing must have a child's mind, so maybe he's sincerely mentally retarded and we should go easy on him...just sayin.
I Red Wings I 40 Report post Posted October 5, 2009 I read the story on Yahoo and there were a few number of people defending the guy with a Modano, Minnesota Wild jersey. I definitely have to agree with the writer, just another jersey foul. That's like a fan wearing a Houston Texans, Steve McNair jersey. That's crazy!

CenterIce 83 Report post Posted October 5, 2009 I was actually watching the Leafs game and i saw someone already with a Kessel Jersey , was quite funny Yeah, I saw him, too. It is the same guy on the linked blog. It is like those people who bought 49ers #15 Crabtree jerseys, before camp even started. I am betting they are loving those jersey's, now. deetroit dario 27 Report post Posted October 5, 2009 I would love to see that guy try to show up in Detroit with that sweater on. he'd never make it out of the airport! he'd be given a "security escort" ("its for your own safety sir...follow us please"), then crated and shipped to china!! one week later, there would be baby blue "mr hockey" jerseys for sale all over ebay...."authentic" ones, lol...
