One of my customers is an Avs fan. We both wished each other good luck for tonight's game. Then we both smirked and snorted.

Wings take this one because Pavel was out last time we played them.

Wings: Hank, Homer, Raffy

Avs: Hejduk (sp?), Wolski x 2

Shootout: Dats and Williams score for Det. Hejduk for Col.

Wings win 4-3 (SO)

Colorado is really beat up but they keep rolling, don't they? I am thinking Tucker is out, as well after the hit he took last night from Ruutu. link

Anyway, the Wings better be awake tonight, or they are going to get their butts whooped.

5-4 Wings win in OT

Perhaps you forgot that HOWARD is starting.... so, If you could, please guess when Osgood relieves Howard? thanks..

Wings Lose because our D isnt up to snuff and playing like dung!!! and Howard is in net!

and our forwards (Zett.. Cleary...Bertuzzi.....Helm....) havent started scoring like we know they can!

I'm hoping for the best, but my confidence in this team is certainly waning. Having Howard back there doesn't help that in the least. The highlight will be having May back in. The Avs will have confidence and the home crowd going into the arena tonight, which also doesn't bode particularly well for the boys in white and red. The dark clouds are gathering...

Having sucked at predictions for my entire life... I'd like to hope for a good 60 (or more) minutes of hockey from the Wings... win or lose. I have yet to see a game this year where they played their hearts out. If they lose when doing that, I have no issues. But if they put 40 minutes of quality on the ice and tank again... I think management needs to look at what can be done to motivate that hasn't been tried already. We are quickly closing in on the 10 game mark. It's not the time for panic, but it's certainly a reasonable barometer for the team's play this season.

LETS GO RED WINGS!

Regards,

Jeff

Wings play good for two periods, in the third the meltdown begins, defense increase turovers by 150% and Howard lets in a softie or two. Wings lose 5-3 last puck empty netter

Ok last time I did this it seemed to work...

Avs win 4-2. Colorado prove to be too tough at home, prepared to play the full 60. Rookies O'Reilly and Duchene continue from where they left off against us and cause havoc. Howard will suffer yet another loss and more pressure will follow.

Zetterberg and Cleary score for Detroit.

On the contrary. The team plays the whole 60 minutes due to lack of confidence in the goalie. My prediction stands.

Agreed, because that's a great mindset for them to be in. And if the Wings play 60 minutes - especially the last five - they can win this game. Ain't no doubt about it.

Such melodrama! Wings, just hold on to the lead that you are clearly capable of getting (game after game). 3-3-2 and you don't expect a win? I'm sure they do or they wouldn't be playing the game...

Everything is gonna be fine. Howard will play a solid game, letting in 3 (one his fault, one not his fault, one his fault then he locks it down). The Wings offense will begin clicking and will score 6. There will be at least one fight. Not one Wing will get traded tonight.

I really, really hate when people talk about how a club has done on this day or that day in the past, especially when it's over a large amount of time; it has no correlation to how the club will play today. You're basically grasping at straws.

Talking about streaks this season is fine, or if a player has been particularly successful in the past playing against a certain team (because some teams players just play better against), but it's such and arbitrary number to throw up "record on this date".

That said, I think Howard will play better in this game, and the Wings will rally after two depressing losses.
