The original A.C. is still one of my favorite games, and by all that I've seen, the sequel looks like it will be absolutely overwhelming. I can't wait for this game to be released!

The big downer is that I preordered since I want the special edition, but I'm going to have to force myself to not touch the game until I get this LSAT crap done with. Gonna be soooo satisfying being able to dedicate myself to AC2 once that root canal of an exam is over though.

Kiiiiiinda like Hitman, not like Thief so much, though. There's a bit of a stealth element, but it's based largely on getting a positioning that lets you pull off a quick one-hit kill and being able to blend into crowds to get aggressive guards off your track. Or you can hire thieves or prostitutes to create distractions so you can complete your objective with less resistance.

Which was a brilliant idea by the game developers.
I'm maybe 7 or 8 hours into this game now, and have not been disappointed in the least. The only complaint I have is about the controls when running top speed across rooftops during the "race" missions, or chasing the pickpockets. Too many times Ezio will jump off the roof in a vastly different direction than I was pointing him in, though that was something that happened in AC1 as well.
Other than that, this game has been fantastic so far. Can't wait to see what else they're going to throw my way.

Oh great don't tell me it has an ending like the one it had in the first.
I was going to go buy the game right now. Is it worth it???
Let me know.

It's literally the last three minutes of the game so it's not like it's hugely significant in terms of game play but it really goes out there. Without spoiling too much, they kiiiinda rip off Stargate...
If you found the first AC enjoyable, absolutely it's worth it. They've improved upon virtually everything from the first game, and there's a ton of material - I barely touched the extra content beyond completing the Assassin Tombs and it still took me almost about 16 hours to finish the main story.
