We showed just how dominant we can be at the tail end of last game, and I expect nothing less than 60 minutes of that same drive, energy, and ability. Helm and Eaves playing on the 3rd is a clear indication to Leino from Babs that the players who play the best the night before earn their spots. If they don't reset their clocks, they might show up at the same time as their opponents and stop treating the first period as the warmup. But for tonight... Flames score 4 in the first. Wings score 1 in the second. The Flames get 3 consecutive PPs. Score at the end of the 2nd: 7-1. Wings win 9-8 in OT. It's obvious the Wings goal the last few games is to put together a game that would make the Chicago comeback look like nothing. Might as well do it against the Flames.
