This is a good opportunity for Howard to develop some momentum.

Going to be a good test of howard, as well as a nice little reminder that there's people waiting other than him too.

edit: uhoh... Logohunter's out there.

Damn, Howard against Luongo? What a mismatch. Actually a bit interested in seeing Miller though.

I believe this will be his first full game back coming off the injury. I think he played 40 in the Canucks last game (and his first game back but sitting as backup) because the backup got pulled and Lu was sent in to finish it off.
Hudler!!

"If you didn't know him, and saw him without hockey gear, you'd never suspect Datsyuk to be a world-class athlete. He walks a bit hunched over. His gait is somewhat crab-like, almost like he's still skating, even on dry land.

But put him on skates and he's Houdini on ice. He is not the fastest skater by a long shot, but there can't be too many who are stronger or more flexible. Checking him has to feel like checking Gumby. You might get a piece of him, but he bounces away, moving faster thanks to the leverage he gained from your check."

I don't think Osgood has the FLU. I was at the Wings game last night and he was talking to the trainer during warm-ups about his groin kept pointing at it and shaking his head.

Maybe he was talking to the trainer and pointing to his groin in reference to the "action" he was going to get later that night since he didn't have to play. tongue.gif

If that's true, that would be the absolute last thing this team needs right now.
It's amazing how much clarity comes when you care more about the Red Wings than any individual player.

"They are the best team in the world. They are a team that can just take over when they want to," Chicago's Patrick Kane said (of the Detroit Red Wings).

is the game on sportsnet west? or are those pricks gonna black it out simply because the wings are playing?

Lol, what a joke... Miller in over a lot of deserving AAA guys.

I think Howard is going ot be fine, especially if we play like we did last night in front of him.
