For section 223, is seat 1 closest to the center of the ice or closest to the net?

I believe they go along clockwise... so it would be closest to Center Ice.

well i know section 216a had seat 1 closer to the zamboni entrance than the stars bench.. it wouldn't make sense to change up numbers in other section of the upper bowl.

So i would say its more than a guess biggrin.gif

I wish I had some of my past tickets on me so I could see if that trend in continuous throughout the building. The only other way I could envision them setting it up it to have alternate 1-15, then 15-1, 1-15, then 15-1, so an entrance will have access to both seat 1s, but I really don't know.

Anyone have a copy of their tickets handy and remember where they were situated?

(looking at the ice in all circumstances)

well i know section 214 where i had my season tickets... Seat 7 was on the right and seat 8 was on the left.

Then in section 216 seat 1 was on the right and 2 was on the left.

So all we would need is an odd number section to see if they reverse

You are correct. if you're looking UP at the seats 1 is on the right. Just remember the Sec numbers go clockwise as does the seats.

I sat in 217B (seats 15-18) against the trashers and the 18th seat was closes to the Zamboni Enterance/Goalie.

so when you were seated looking at the ice... 18 (closest to the zamboni) was on the right and 15 (closest to the bench) on the left? That goes against the clockwise that Even sections have.

if you were looking up at the seats, shouldn't 1 be on the left if seats go clockwise?
Also, The Ukranian are you positive the high numbered seat was closest to the zambo enterance?

The plot thickens...

I'm pretty sure, but I'm not going to say I'm 100%. Maybe the seating numbering is different for the sections with A/B in it?
You could call the Joe Box office and they could probably tell you so you'd be 100% sure.

My seat for Game 1 of the SCF was seat 15 in section 220. It was an aisle seat on the the blue line so seat 1 in section 223 probably would be on the blue line.

Thanks a bunch for all your help, gang. I'm hoping that I'll be hanging out at the blue line, but I can't complain too much. I'll let you know on the 23rd smile.gif

It's closest to center ice. I just remembered I sat in Section 223 row 2 seat 5 for the Bruins game, went through a few pictures, and found out.

btw - those are pretty sweet seats happy.gif

You made my day by telling me that. I got 223 row 12 seats 1-4 for the Blackhawks game in a couple weeks. I was hoping to be closest to center.

Nice, 2nd period will be your best, but those are good seats throughout the whole game. Have fun!

If you're looking at the ice and the Hockeytown logo at center ice is facing you, which side do the Wings shoot on twice?

I'm looking at getting my mom some tickets for Christmas and I'd wanna be on the side they shoot on twice.

The Wings shoot twice on the Zamboni side of the rink. I forgot which side it is from the Hockeytown logo. Essentially 208-221 on the map posted a few posts ago.

Yea, I figured that out. Just bought tickets for the 12/26 game vs. CBJ, section 212A.
