rage 24 Report post Posted December 4, 2009 (edited) So I was thinking about this after watching the game last night. The Red Wings had Shawn Horcoff join them in Training Camp and then had Michael Nylader join their AHL affiliate team "Griffins" during regular season play. They sure are nice doing that for other teams players. Both players were/are under contracts. Edited December 4, 2009 by rage
Holmstrom96 347 Report post Posted December 4, 2009 What's so bad about last night's game? The Wings scored 3 goals and the Oilers scored 2. Sounds like a win to me!
NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted December 4, 2009 What's wrong with that? If anything, it helps both the Red Wings and the Griffins get better by playing against better talent during training camp and with better talent in Grand Rapids.
rage 24 Report post Posted December 4, 2009 Well guys, I'm not saying anything is wrong with it. I am just pointing out the facts. Also, I thought it was strange. That's all.
Guest CaliWingsNut Report post Posted December 4, 2009 Nylander was likely a future consideration thing... We had him on the Griffins so that the Islanders' affiliate didn't have to drop a prospect.
