Guest CaliWingsNut Report post Posted December 5, 2009 At least they wouldn't be taking fans away from a team that's won a Cup... I mean, my hometown has more Cups than Buffalo. Wow... So because a now defunct team won the cup (against less then 30 teams), and Buffalo hasn't... Buffalo somehow deserves to lose their fans to a new team needlessly placed in the middle of 3 markets? Nice argument.
eva unit zero 271 Report post Posted December 5, 2009 Houston, Seattle, Madison/Milwaukee, Winnipeg, Quebec City, Kansas City Or maybe Ann Arbor. If Jimmy B can throw a tantrum about his hometown, why can't I suggest mine?
Shady Ultima 40 Report post Posted December 6, 2009 Seattle/Portland is by far the best market. It opens up a better West rivalry (Vancouver/Seattle) and it also allows a West Coast team to be in the east. Detroit being in the west is kinda stupid. I had a way to move things around that there were 15 teams in each division, with Chicago being the farthest west in the eastern conference. There were no teams in Florida, Atlanta, Nashville and Phoenix were switched with Seattle, Winnipeg, Quebec City, and a couple others (I'd have to go looking for it.) It worked out well, with no team having to travel very far in their own division.
Broken 16 381 Report post Posted December 6, 2009 Vegas. As much as I would prefer a more traditional site, Vegas would be really cool for an experiment.
