Babs was absolutely pissed after the Oil game. These are the kind of games where you can expect the Wings to come out on fire. Last year when we were on our 6 game losing streak Babs was asked a question about the upcoming game. He said something along the lines of "We are winning that game". Sure enough, the Wings went out and kicked ass. Lets hope he did something after that wonderful display of crap we say the other night.

Okay.. So I dont normally pick on games we have to win for my own personal pleasure, but this is one of them. I actually like NJ but they are my cousins favorite team and he is coming over to my place to watch it. So here's hoping the Wings come out on fire and stay on fire all game.

My Prediction:

Wings 5 - Datsyuk, Cleary, Ericsson, Helm, Bertuzzi

Devils 2 - Parise, Greene

GO WINGS GO!

Tonights 3rd and 4th lines are

Draper-Helm-Eaves

Miller-Abdelkader-Maltby

1st and 2nd yet to be released.

Same article says

Datsyuk-Zetterberg-Holmstrom

Leino-Cleary-Bertuzzi

will be the first two lines.

Also I am really loving that Miller has avoided the rotating press box day that Eaves, May and Maltby have been subject to.

Makes me think he is going to stay.

I'm excited about seeing Hank and Pav together, but I hope Babs actually give them some time and don't split them up again if they haven't lit the place up in the 1st period. Hopefully Hank can jump-start Pavel so we actually have both our superstars playing at the top of their ability.

I do have that it's a pretty weak lineup looking beyond the 1st line. It's basically a 1st line, two 3rd lines and a 4th.

Does Pavel really need to be jump-started? He's got 20 points in 25 games. That's pretty good for a playmaker who doesn't have a decent shooter on his line.

I like that Pavel and Hank are back together, but I do agree with you that I'm nervous that we're rolling on two 3rds and a 4th.

Well if you're going to play Dats and Z together, you are subjecting yourself to playing that line often. There is a huge dip in offense betweeen the 1st and 2nd lines now.

Offense wasn't our problem last game. Offense scoring on the other team was our problem.

Gonna be there tonight. Gonna represent big time, and the wife brought the bail money just in case

Snowing to beat the band here now, I'll take that as a good sign

Section 17 row 2 says:

Wings 4

Devils 3

Homer, Lidstrom, Zetterberg and Leino
