Grand Rapids Griffins (17-10-0-1) @ San Antonio Rampage (9-14-3-1)
7:00 pm CST

The Wings are struggling to field a team, and therefore so are the Griffins. Tatar and Axelsson are gone (for the time being), Janik and Newbury are in Detroit. Will another player be called up due to the injury to Zetterberg? Francis Lemieux has been re-assigned to Grand Rapids in a boost for him and the team. Pretty much a guess as to what the line-up will look like given all the movement. San Antonio are on a 5 game winless streak, the Griffins are 1-0-0-1 from their past 2.

Possible line-up:

Ritola - McGrath - Mursak
Rismiller - Nylander - Williams
Emmerton - Pare - Lemieux
Vigilante - Tardif - Walsh

Kolosov - Kindl
Delmore - Ehrhardt
Crosty - Pyett

Larsson
McCollum

Ken Holland: Hes (Mursak) a young guy, provides energy, can skate, hes a puck hound.

Nylander really comes in handy with all these injuries & call-ups.

Good period, Griffins up 1-0.

Williams from Nylander and Pare.

Mursak with a beauty of a play to set up Pyett who was denied.

Ken Holland: Hes (Mursak) a young guy, provides energy, can skate, hes a puck hound.

Damn, Griffs lose 4-2, both goals from Williams.

Maybe he should be callled up to replace Z? Althought he doesn't even know what the word defence means, he has a wicked shot.

Is that still true? In the games I've watched he hasn't looked bad per se. More of a work in a progress.

A good shooter but apparently can't play defense to save his life.

Hopefully he is learning in GR. I havn't seen him at all this year, but last year I watched a few of his games with the Leafs, and he is a big time floater.
