After 1 period, Griffins down 4-2. Yeah, 4 goals conceded after 20 minutes. McCollum in net.

The only good news is that the goals are:

1. GR Mursak, (12) (Kindl), 4:15

1. GR Ritola, (8) (Emmerton), 5:42

Jan! Good to see Ritola score after being sent down.

Great defence/goaltending. Larsson came in and has given up 2 goals on 5 shots.

Griffins down 6-3. Another loss upcoming.

McCollum sure isnt putting up great numbers so far...wasnt he suppose to be our future goaltender? I know you dont give up on goaltending prospects quickly, but so far not so great....

Didn't he have a strong start to the season? This is typical for a young goalie, new to the league. He will learn to be more consitant with time.

Ritola was the only Griffin who played for 60 minutes. The rest gave some effort at various times, but not consistently.

I thoght it was very welcoming of Kindl to spend a good part of the warmup chatting with Chelios.

What was the deal with Nylander? He wasn't there for warmups or the first period. The Griffins played with only 17 skaters on the bench until period two when Nylander joined the team. Did he oversleep?

Yeah he started off ok, but has been not so great after that....

I was only partly listening, but I believe it was said on the radio that Nylander returned to Sweden for the holiday, and I think they said his plane had a delay or something.
