Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 Must win. The Ducks are without 3 of their top players and just stink this year.. hopefully Howie has a strong game. Janik and Bertuzzi better be ready without May in the line-up, Ducks are gonna bring it for sure.

Duck Guy 86 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 (edited) wings win 10-2... Jiggy or hiller gets pulled in the first after letting in 4 goals on 7 shots. He proceeds to throw his water bottle in the crowd. Crowd then fights over water bottle and 2 people are injured. Bert gets a hat trick. Sexton is the only duck that shows up and scores both Anaheim goals late in the third. 5 separate fights will ensue on the ice.... 2 in the seats. Ducks will again showcase their epic fail of a season. Edited January 5, 2010 by Duck Guy

Whenever Wings play a game without a injury it feels like a win even if we lose. I know Ducks are struggling this year, but just think about the great picks your team will score... maybe Taylor Hall? I'd be so jealous. Ducks are a great team and will be in the cup run next year for sure.
Branton87 77 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 Wings win 132 to 2. All the Wings score hat tricks and them some, including Babcock from behind the bench. Helm's goals are all empty netters.

Firehawk 305 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 I agree with an earlier poster. This is really a must win. We need to stay close to the Playoff picture and we need to get these win from banged up teams. I will not be staying up for this game, but I will watch the first period. I hope we win. I will predict 3-1 Wings since the games are very close lately.
Miss Wing Queen 154 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 Everyone scores as many goals as they have letters in their last name. Helm changes his name to Helmoskovichsteinstromson in the third period. Wings win. :rotflmao: Well, Homer is definitely on track to get 2 x his name. Wings win 4-2. Helm or Drapes with the EN. Would love to see another shortie (or two!) in there for Helmer. Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted January 5, 2010 (edited) Anyone know May's status for this? We really could use that extra physical presence tonight. According to MLive, he practiced on the 4th line along with Leino, Abdelkader and Maltby but looks like he won't be in the lineup. So long as Leino is on the ice there is someone to take out in Hulder-esque fashion instead of our star players. Leino is an enforcer in his own special way.
