Brian Rafalski is the "human f***up machine".

He reminds me of Brad Stuart from the finals last year, and that's something I never want to remember.

I like Raffi, but 6 million is too much for him. When his contract is up I would rather see Pyett be able to take over his job...Pyett is Rafalski Jr. (good offense doesn't know what defense is)

I'm becoming more and more convinced that injuries aren't the problem with this team.

It's the laziness of the star players that happens to be a problem. They look good against Phoenix, then they take 2 games off agaisnt LA and Anaheim. Then they look marvelous against San Jose. Then it's this s***.

It's all about effort, and this team doesn't have it consistently from its top guys. The injuries are an overrated problem with this team.

Well, Wings were a steaming pile of s*** there.

They're probably back to assuming they could just show up and win.

There has to be a serious improvement next 2 periods.

Even though most of the players were poor, I can't stand much more of Meech and Lebda. One, I might be able to stand but not both. Bumbling fools.

There's at least one time - maybe two games ago - that I thought he was. But he sounds OK to me tonight. He did well last game too. Don't know if it's nerves or what, but it is a little off-setting.

I rarely post on here but i haven't been able to watch many of these games so this is disappointing. I wasn't too pissed off after the Chicago games because we just couldn't skate with the lineup we had against them but tonight we are just getting outworked and outplayed. Poor, poor performance so far.

I think we will pick it up and start taking the play to them but i fear that is when we will run into the familiar never able to score a ******* goal no matter what we throw at them.

Islanders announcers are terrible. This guy is talking like this game is hockey porn. Is beating the 9th place team in the West really that amazing?

Not to put the Wings down, but this guy's just waxing eloquence. If I heard an announcer for a team I liked doing that, I'd mute the TV.

Its not just the star players its everyone on the team except for a few that are showing zero effort tonight. Only Helm and Eaves have done anything noticeably positive.

Another turnover by the Wings, this time from Houdini. Yeesh, Wings can get ahead of the Kings here with a win, but so far, they aren't taking advantage of it .
