Damn, I remember that game last year when McDonald got the shutout. Must have been like the only time we were shutout last season?

There's no excuse not to win this game. Wings have a tendency to play down to their opposition but can't afford to do that now.

Wings 6-1. Datsyuk 2, Zetterberg, Lidstrom, Helm, Filppula.

Oh and btw, i said zetterberg would get less than 25 goals this season in the beginning and everyone on here was like "dude what are you smoking"... he's on pace for less than that as we speak :P

It's Jimmah time!

4-1, Z^2, Bert, and Jimmy Howard with his first career goal on a 150' goalie paddle slap shot made possible when Brett Lebda, carrying the puck, runs himself into the boards and is subsequently not able to stand up for two minutes, causing all the Islanders players to double over laughing. Howard's slap shot is recorded at 102 mph when it goes into the net.

Taveras scores an empty netter with 30 seconds left when Mike Babcock's heart grows three times bigger that day.
