FINALLY a game in primetime european time, 8pm... *aah so this is how it feels like to watch hockey on a normal time*

Come west, young man. I'll make you breakfast every morning and you'll never feel depressed or cynical again.

I'm all for the speed that having Draper on that line means, I just like the look of Abdelkader on the third line.

YES to all of the above.

I am also stoked for this weekend. Both U.T. basketball teams play today (our women will get their butts handed to them on a platter); the Wings play both days (sorry if you get winded boys, but I KNOW you can handle it!); and for once, I'm rooting for the Cowboys to beat the crap out of the Vikings.

Deaf, dumb and blind by Sunday evening. And smiling? And I am SO looking forward to it.

It's Jimmah time!

4-1, Z^2, Bert, and Jimmy Howard with his first career goal when Turco gets caught out of position and forgets where the net is, so he engages Lebda in a conversation about futility and the meaning of life.

can we stop getting outshot? seems we don't carry the play anymore to the opposition or forecheck, crash the net, possess the puck, make crisp passes like we're used to seeing.

And may I join with all my Soft Euro ™ brethren in celebrating the beauty of the afternoon matinee thumbup.gif

Pav had his best game of the season when we played in Dallas a few weeks ago, lets hope for the same today.
"If I can be totally honest, it's not a lot of guys you get impressed by. Actually, it's no one else but him. From the bench, to see what move he makes -- you're like, 'I wish I could do that.' Sometimes you sit on the bench and just think, 'wow,' and you look over to the other bench and they sit there and shake their heads, too. He has great, great skills. I'm probably not going to play with another player who has the kind of skills he has." Mikael Samuelsson on Pavel Datsyuk

So can we go ahead and call the imminent fight between May and Barch staged now?

Let's do!
Maybe Dallas will do something nasty to one of our players and it won't be called and May will take exception to it and try to retaliate and Barch will step in and the two will fight.

Then we can have a fight thread in the GD! Won't that be fun!?!?!
