zombiewing 3 Report post Posted January 19, 2010 An honest assesment, coming from a native Detroiter: Nemo's- it is the oldest bar in the city, in the oldest neighborhood in the city, feels like a movie set. free shuttle to and from the game, which means you can get schnokered on all the Labatt's you can handle. It is in Corktown. It is a block from where the old tiger stadium used to stand. It is full of history. Harold Snepsts used to drink there. Jimmy Hoffa ordered a hit on someone there. Illitch brought the cup there personally. Old Shill is not bad, it is just that...it is a tad too touristy for my tastes. How can you say no to snepsts and jimmy hoffa?
