Stevie Y Datsyuk 2 Report post Posted January 22, 2010 Since I wasn't able to DVR tonight's game, is there anyway to see Datsyuk's and Filppula's shootout goal since they are not in the NHL.com highlights?
Theophany 110 Report post Posted January 22, 2010 Unless someone uploads them to youtube, probably not.
wingedwheelfan 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2010 (edited) I've used this site in the past, but they don't always have each individual shooter. Nothing's posted yet... tonight's game is at the bottom of the page. Edited January 22, 2010 by wingedwheelfan
RedWingsRox 614 Report post Posted January 22, 2010 (edited) TSN.ca has highlights, not all shooters but it has Datsyuk's. If you wait, NHL should have it all. Edited January 22, 2010 by RedWingsRox
titanium2 867 Report post Posted January 22, 2010 It says on detnews that Fil beat Backstrom high over the blocker. What did Datsyuk do? Same move as usual? Fake hard to the backhand and if it's open shoot it, if not, bring it to the forehand:
Yellowknife Redwing 57 Report post Posted January 22, 2010 (edited) It says on detnews that Fil beat Backstrom high over the blocker. What did Datsyuk do? Same move as usual? Fake hard to the backhand and if it's open shoot it, if not, bring it to the forehand: Faked forehand shot, pulled to the backhand and gently slid it between the pads as Backstrom overplayed it, thinking he was going to rip it high on the backhand. It was a great move and looked effortless, as Pav so often does. Edited January 22, 2010 by Yellowknife Redwing

It actually looked almost exactly the same as the goal he scored in the Winter Classic last year. Only it was in a shootout, not on a breakaway.
BlakKy 58 Report post Posted January 22, 2010 http://watch.tsn.ca/nhl/clip258279#clip258279 Datsyuk's goal is there. Definitely a nice one... Backstrom didn't like it.
