I understand and partially agree with both sides of the arguments about our goaltenders.

Our problem is they DO NOT make the huge/clutch saves.....ever. Not even ones they should have no chance of saving (e.g. lucky flailing saves). This does 2 things, it obviously makes us have to score more goals, and it demoralizes our team, seemingly ruining our offense.

And it costs us every time.

Come on, Howard has been making ton of huge saves like that.

I missed last game but Z is looking the best I've seen him since his return from injury. Still have a ways to go before he's on the level he is supposed to be.

He did not look good last night, though he didn't look like he wasn't trying either. I was there and after the plays he was hunching over a lot and just seemed to be trying to keep it all together. I've thought he's been bothered by injury still, and I was definitely more convinced last night. His speed is definitely not all there.

kronwall is getting caught out of position so many times

yeah...i think that's at least three times he's been caught up ice and given up an odd-man rush. not sure if he doesn't have his game legs back or if he's just making bad choices...

We have too many players who aren't playing up to their potential.

Ericksson looks lost. Filps just gets tossed around. Cleary looks like he's slowing down Dats and Z.

 Serious? Dano's looked great the last 2 games with those two, Bertuzzi's game is played quicker like those two... and we saw what they produced.
