I love how at the start of each and every powerplay the pred fans make a "predator" with their index and middle finger, aka "fang fingers." very creative and un-annoying.

Fierth!

Red Kelly #4 and Larry Aurie #6 belong in the rafters!!!

I like the fact that they know better than to bring their moonshine in the arena, and hold barbequing till they get out of there.

Seriously. I think Trotz is a helluva coach and seems like an all-around nice guy.

"He even ate with women who at that time were accorded the same status as the family donkey. Are we willing to break bread with, say, child sex slaves, transgender teens and undocumented workers? Because when Jesus comes back to Earth, that's where he'll be hanging."
You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.

Money on the Board - 100 bucks on the base.  From here on, one buck per puck IN goal, win or lose!

Total right now:  $105.

I like how they play hockey in Tennessee, and how Trotz looks like he is straight out of Russia (he is a very good coach though) biggrin.gif

I like how year in and year out this team competes. Trotz, Ruff, and Babcock are easily the three best coaches of the last 7 years.

I like the fact that they've always had either the same or less fighting majors than us this season. Making us fight fans feel better smile.gif

I like their mustard-colored jerseys.

I like that David Legwand holds just about every franchise record for skaters.

I like that their arena has no corporate sponsorship just like ours. hehe.gif

I like how, despite not having won a Stanley Cup, they have been supported in their community as well as the Penguins have been supported in theirs in the last half-decade.

Edited by 55fan, 29 January 2010 - 03:21 AM.

My money on the board pledge:

$1 for each goal scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.

An additional $5 for each hat trick scored by a player after whom I have named a hamster.

An additional $10 if any of the above goals is the GWG goal that gives us the series win.

An additional $50 if it is the GWG that wins us the Cup.

$5 for a SO by Jimmy.

Hamsters' names (current players in RED):  Henrik Pavel Tomas Nicklas Dominik

                                                                      Niklas Matthieu Daniel Robert

                                                                      Johan Andreas Valtteri Jonathan

                                                                      Andrew Patrick Ian Todd

And introducing:  Jordin Damien Gustav James

TOTAL SO FAR: $27

I know this thread is a little tongue in cheek but in all seriousness I think the Preds are a really well run organization. They are one of the few teams in the league that can do so much with so little. They consistently have a trimmed payroll and rarely ever can they afford to bring in the so called stars of the league but they always produce a competitive, entertaining team.

Plus, they always seem to produce strong goaltenders...well, at leat they're strong for a little while

I kinda like the tradition of blowing whistles when Choochoo is on the ice.
But my most coveted thing is a high self-esteem
And a low tolerance for them telling me how to lean
See the most important parts are the ones that are unseen
The Wings don't make you fly and the Crown don't make you king
Now God don't like ugly, ain't too happy bout pretty
I am ignorance's enemy so stay out of the vicinity of...
