:D That's awesome.

Seriously though, I do wonder what he is up to.

Didn't he say he was still a fan of the Pens? Maybe he's outside the Igloo trying to scalp some tickets.

He's still in Pittsburgh for now, he's just been focusing on spending time with his kids. I think it was mentioned somewhere that they're older kids and he's been reluctant for them to be moved from their schools for the time being.

Obviously the Pens had to let him go but he would probably be a good fit for an AHL or young NHL team in need of learning disciplined work ethic and defense, though his style doesn't always get on well with veterans and has a limited shelf life.

Is he still being paid by the pens?

If so then taht would make sence why he isnt coaching again. Not sure how long he had on his contract when he was fired.

Yeah, he's basically being paid to do nothing for the time being and will be for a couple more years so that's probably why he hasn't been in a hurry to get back to work.

Well, Hitchcock just got fired....

The idea of Therrien coaching the Jackets makes me vomit. Also, I respect Hitchcock and the idea of him being replaced by Therrien makes me vomit. The short of it is, if that actually happens, I'll be vomiting a bunch.

That little, eh? I thought he could've made a good assistant coach somewhere, particularly for a younger team. He was good at motivating younger players.
