It's a decent deal for the Pens. Caputi is doing extremely well in the AHL this year; he is averaging a point per game. That may translate into something in the NHL or it may not---certainly there are plenty of players who are great in the AHL but do not do so well in the NHL---but I cannot see Burke having made this deal if he didn't get something good out of it.
