Game-winning goal, Sidney Crosby.
Till the last second, the man was transparent, and I really thought that without Maxime Talbot, Team Canada would not be able to seal the deal..

It is LGW.

Crosby will never have this site's respect. No matter what.

Of course not.

No one ever questioned his playing ability.

We just think he's a piece of dog s*** that whines a lot and gets too much attention. Also, he's an ugly mofo.

Why would our opinions be changed?
According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.

I don't respect him any more than I used to and I feel like I give him a pretty fair amount of respect for what he is, a great hockey player. He scored the winning goal but I think other players deserve more credit.

He's a whiny little baby. Why should we respect him? He looks like a goober!

The day Crosby stops diving and slashing players in the legs when things dont go his way i "might" start to respect him.

A game winning goal for the gold medal is not going to change the fact that he is a whiny ***** who gives no credit to his opponent and constantly complains to the officials.

that was a nice goal and surely a timely one.

truth being said, he indeed was invisible except for this goal and a breakaway much earlier. I hoped Getzlaf will score the winner here,
because he deserved it much more (and actually was playing some great hockey unlike the primadonna), but...

Stevie and Mike are in the W column now. Burke and Wilson not. I'll live with that

Absolutely, both him and Crosby knew it too.

So should we start a "Did Perry earn your respect" thread now?

How about doing one for Pronger too?

It was a quick shot that shouldn't have gotten off in the first place if not for Rafalski.

He's always had my respect as a gifted offensive hockey player....but...ugh....I think I'm sick....

"During Robert Lang’s time in Detroit, he caused me anguish. Other times he brought me and my family great joy. Robert Lang occasionally coasts, and spends time searching for the best pane of glass to best view the reflection of his flowing mullet. Other times he is a strong-armed force with the puck. I never knew what to expect from Robert Lang. He is The Enigma. " - A2Y
