We have the talent to wipe the ice with Calgary as long as we show up and compete out there.
Ericsson does scare the s*** out of me, though.

Agreed. How could they plan for ericsson to rest 2 games and have a date/game set for him to return to? I don't get it.. play one player until he f***s up then replace him til the guy who replaced him f***s up etc
The Lilja/Lebda combo has been respectable these past few years; nothing against Ericsson, but he needs to simplify his game, and concentrate on the "D" aspect of defense if he's going to gain the confidence from the Red Wings coaching staff.

Just wear your Depends...I won't tell anyoneThat's great news. We haven't heard news like that all year on the injury front.

Ericsson or Lebda....Both are pretty brutal but a 6th D isnt suppose to be great... but lebda can have that excellent speed through the neutral zone while ericsson is just slow... but to be honest, what does ericsson have that lebda doesnt? ericsson doesnt use his size so that argument isnt good....
Potential.
Ericsson is still a rookie and is going to keep developing. We already know what Lebda brings.

Every time this debate comes up I end up thinking Ericsson needs to be with the Griffins, but wait! He would have to go through waivers.Ericsson should play 25mins in the minors but he have to go through waivers i think and that wouldnt work.. gah... he needs to get back confidence and his game overall.

But I guess he can replace Lebda for a game to see if he can get his game together. But I would much rather wait for Ericsson to play against the Wild as compared to the Flames.

True - however he's a scary combo when paired with Lebda...I really hope Ericcson realises that just 'cause you were top dog in the AHL doesn't mean you'll be top dog in the NHL...In other words he needs to smarten up defensively if he wants to stay with the big club.Big E may be struggling, but he doesn't take any s*** from douches around our net, and there will probably be a lot of that against the Flames.
