It has to be an injury situation. He hasn't looked right since returning from the shoulder injury.

Lidstrom is a strong second half player and knows when to hit the score sheet when it counts. 39 years old and he is still the best defenseman in the NHL.hey guys did you know that lidstrom now has 27 points in his last 28 games (since dec 26)

One game doesn't make up for the fact that he has been inconsistent the entire season. The Wings are playing Calgary tonight, not Chicago.Did you miss his game against Chicago? Guess so.

Wrong, he was playing awesome from like a few weeks into the season up until he was injured. He wasn't putting up crazy points or anything but he was looking the best I've seen him since 07-08.He hasn't looked right since this entire season.
Right now he is putting up points but not looking too good. But he is carrying around Bert and J-Wil.

that's not what people here were saying the first half of the season.
Many were saying he just lost it, needed to do us all a favor and retire.
Lidstrom is the man, and he's playing great

He has some of the worst balance I've ever seen in a player.
Constantly stumbling and falling around everywhere.
