What is the name of that stupid "la-la-lala-la-la-lala-la-la" song they play when they win?

Not sure, I think its an Irish song or something.

I love it, but I guess other fans probably hate it because they have heard it so many times this season ;)
And its not really a "victory" song, they just play it after every goal scored.

You are correct, it is Chelsea Dagger, by The Fratellis. However, dont click that link, its just the lame ass Rick Roll'd video.

Here is the real one

What's the reason behind playing this song in Chicago after goals? Is there a Chicago connection or something?

Thanks for the help....and my other question is why do they play this song? I gotta admit, it's pretty catchy.

One of my favorite soccer teams Celtic FC from Scotland uses that same song when they score. I think it kinda fits the sport better than hockey. Then again it's still better than the Habs and their Ole Ole Ole

So there is no Chicago tie? Just jumping on a song bandwagon? OK, cool. WTG Chicago.

I have to listen to this when my high school hockey team scores a goal, they play Chelsea Dagger. Only problem is it can get kinda annoying at times.
