Guest Howard He Do It?!

Buffalo are lucky to be in this game. A good start to the 2nd but that's about it.

As far as Howard goes, I watched Miller at the other end kick out a colossal rebound on a Draper shot right into the slot. The difference? LUCK.

And an alert defense.

Compliments aren't so much rare, as they are instantly flamed by certain posters who seem to hate Filppula as though he had run over their dog or something. As a result, only a few brave souls still post positive things about him.

Well I'm glad to see it. I'm one of those who thinks Filppula deserves every penny he makes. He may not be as productive offensively yet as we'd all like him to be, but his defensive game would be very tough to replace, and I don't want to see them try.

Flawless penalty kill. That's the type of kill they should use to get a timely goal.

13 minutes apart huh? I agree, Datsyuk will get the GWG!

Jimmy with two excellent saves.

That's one rule that I don't understand. Why should the play be blown dead when puck hits the mesh?

Were it not for the mesh, the puck would have been out of play.

But the puck usually falls back on the ice and the play could continue. I guess it would create too many confusing moments as players would be wondering where the puck went.

The Wings have to get Miller moving from side to side on this PP.

Cause it isn't a part of the ice rink, just security for the crowd

The net is out of play though because without the net, the puck would be out of play.
