Even better than being in 8th, one point behind Nashville for 7th. Would have never thought from the start of the season we'd be fighting Calgary for 8th and Nashville for 7th.

Thought the Wings played great puck-possession hockey in the 1st and 3rd periods. The 2nd was kinda terribad but let's forget about that.

Call me a pessimist, but I'm in shock that we didn't blow the 3rd period and actually won the game, and in OT no less where we usually suck badly.

5-2 since the break. Howard has great body position but seems like every shot is a rebound now. Still would not even remotely consider a goaltending change for even 1 game. On to a huge game Monday nite.
