Alright guys so last year at this time of the season i was spending the majority of the gamedays pissed off because i was at work. I am in desperate need of an app, website, download, upload, feed, podcast something! To allow me to stream 97.1. I have a htc hero and am firmiliar with the android market and have actually downloaded a couple apps that list the ticket as a station but when i go to stream all i get is "currently unavailable server busy" i am aware that the ticket does not stream tigers or pistons games but i tried well after the tigers played today. Some of the apps i have tried are cherry rplayer, antplayer, a online radio, streamfurious, droidlive and have not gotten a stream yet! If anyone has a instant resolution i would greatly appreciate it. Go wings!

I would too appreciate an idea, but for iPhone. There have been times where I was in the same situation. It sucks only being able to look at the score every now and then through my THN app. Any suggestions would help either of us. :)

If you are looking for something to broadcast the station, use WunderRadio or Yahoo Music. If you are wanting to try and listen to the games, the sports leagues prevent this from happening. They do not want third parties broadcasting their games over the internet, because of the current broadcasting restrictions and their own pay for play services. Not even XM, who can broadcast the games over their radios, are allowed to play live sporting events over their premium, paid for, internet streaming.

Im not saying you dont know what you are talking about but i dont know what you are talking about. I have friends and family streaming all types of games. Something is out there...

How are they streaming them? What are they using? Is it "legal"? I am not saying there is nothing out there that can be used, but I am saying the NHL, and other leagues, don't want it to happen, unless they are the ones doing it their way, and they are getting the money.

I use m.moodio.fm to listen to 89X. I've tried all of the android apps and none them could get 89X. I think it has something to do with the lack of Flash support on android right now but that should hopefully be fixed when 2.1 comes out. Just added 97.1 The Ticket and its streaming just fine.

As mentioned the feed may be blacked out during game time but its worth a try.

On your XM radio or through their internet streaming? Yes, it will broadcast on your XM radio but not through their online service, which is what their app runs off of.

The AOL Radio app has the ticket. I was tuned in this morning.

WunderRadio and Yahoo Music have it as well. WunderRadio also has 89X. When you try 97.1 (during games), you get an alternate broadcast.
