I think I SERIOUSLY scratched my throat from screaming so loud.

PLEASE KEEP THE LEAD WIN. SEAL IT WITH AN EMPTY NETTER. PLEAAAAAASSSEEEE!!!

I hurt my throat because I couldn't yell. Spouse had gone to bed. Just sort of wheezed and croaked. Think I gave myself a hernia.

I'm very happy to see that the Wings have been playing better since the Olympic break ended. I didn't get a chance to follow the game tonight because I was busy doing about a besquillion chores around the house, but I was hoping they'd come out on top tonight.

Let's see if they can ride this momentum a little bit further.

Awesome! That Lilja turn-over was brutal.

ha ha, I love the jokes about Larry Murphy's eminent drunkenness on St. Patty's day.

That and Helm just let his man stand right next to the net for the goal. He looked lost out there.

If the Wings were in the East, they would be in 5th and 9 points ahead of the 9 seed.

The West is just ridiculous.

awesome game! wings stepped it up for a change, really controlled the play for most of the game. if not for a key lilja turnover and a few posts, this would have been a blowout. first sign of optimism for me in a long time. looked good! three-game winning streak!!!!!

Fun day on Calgary Sport Talk Radio tomorrow?

Just like here when Toronto loses.

Funny you mention Toronto, I bet the guys on the air tommorow rip Sutter for all those stupid trades picking up Leafs and making his team worse. Going to be wonderful.

The guys played hard, but I gotta wonder why someone like Helm gets a fraction of the ice that Cleary or Bert gets. Dan Cleary seems tired this year. How old is he again? Cleary gets 17 minutes while Helm gets 10? For some reason Babcock think Cleary is a top 6 forward. Give Helm those minutes and watch s*** happen.
Are you kidding? Block you? And miss watching you stumble around the forum looking for an argument like a dog sniffing butts? It would be like turning off a bad episode of Jerry Springer. You know you shouldn't be watching, but you just... can't... help... it...

Ahh, THOSE are the Wings I fell in love with 8 years ago!

No panic, keep pressing and dominated most of the game. I liked that win, a little too nervous watching it though. Glad Franzen took the shot, perfect Holmstrom tip.

Something is seriously wrong with Cleary. He is such a better skater than Holmstrom (at least skating straight) but can't provide half the offense he can. And all he did this game was skate straight into a Calgary defenseman, turn the puck over, and on some occasions fall down.
