It will be embarassing if they lose this one, wings already lost the previous two meetings.... just saying.

This game scares the hell out of me. It SHOULD be a simple win, but the way this season has gone nothing can be taken for granted. They could either win, or take their feet off the gas pedal and blow it, thus costing them their one game advantage on Nashville and Calgary and breaking their mojo.

Please, please, please, please, please win. Please.

"Rookie goaltender Devan Dubnyk is expected to start Friday, and he'll be looking for his first NHL win. Dubnyk is 0-8-2 in 13 appearances, including 10 starts, with a 4.16 goals-against average and .868 save percentage."

If this is a nutshell detroit game he will have the game of his life, stand on his head make 45saves for his first career win and also first shutout in the same game.. :hehe:

That would be Detroit form.

I hope tonight his teammates are gathered around him, patting him on the back, and saying, "Hey, the Red Wings are tough. Don't let this get you down. You'll do better next time."

I know we're playing well lately and Edmonton is playing like crap, but I just have a really bad feeling about this game.

Something about it just feels wrong. Almost like a game we could look back on later and regret.

I hope I'm wrong and we come out and blow them out in the first period.
