No, we're even with Calgary but they played one more game than us so we keep 8th.

I don't know his career numbers in the shootout, but he's only 33% this season. That's 4th on the team. Maybe you're thinking of Zetterberg?

In case anyone hasn't noticed, Calgary is playing pretty good hockey right now having beat the preds and sharks in their last 2. This is by no means over, and, Vancouver is next. There is just way too much dead weight on this team at the forward position.

Their goalie had like a 4.00 something GAA, never won a game. The Oilers are like 30th defensively. You can't lose games like this, especially to the bottom team in the league, when you are in the race for the playoffs. They should've peppered him with shots, he would've eventually let in a few, or let up a few nice rebounds. Why is it that a no name goalie always has the game of his life against this team? Damn.

Their play since the Olympic break has put them in a good situation. Edmonton was not necessarily a MUST WIN. They're tied for 8th with a game in hand. As long as they don't make a habit out of this losing thing, they'll be okay. They are four points out of 6th place with a game in hand. Don't blow many more games and they can finish as high as 6th relatively easily.


Oh, and Murph always sounds drunk.

Devils are pretty much in the playoffs, they are not desperate for every single point.

Wings on the other hand had 2 of the easiest points on the schedule and they lamed them away, they got 1 charity point.

Wings need every point they can get and losing to the last place team when ur in that position is laughable and says a lot about the team and "how bad they want it."

Look at Calgary taking care of business against way better competition.
