The only solution to this that I can see is to break up the top line. If Bertuzzi can get back his scoring touch, it is going to be with Datsyuk. Franzén was great in the playoffs last year with Zetterberg and Cleary, so hopefully that line could get going again. That would leave Filppula centering Miller and Williams, which would be an okay third line. Miller and Filppula are both defensively sound, Miller could do the dirty work, Filppula could pass the puck, and Slick Willy could shoot.

EPIC FAIL!

I think it's time to split the top line everyone.

They haven't scored in like 3 games!

Bertuzzi~Dats~Williams
Flip~Hank~Franzen
Eaves~Miller~Holmstrom
Draper~Helm~Cleary

Now I think this move would use chemistry bert and dats already have, add williams and his shot into the mix. Also I think it would really wake williams up, Im not the biggest fan but he has shown glimmers of what he can do so. As for Holmer, PP speacilist and Miller is a machine at winning puck battles, he might as well feed a shooter...eaves! Im sure it wont happen, but it would be intersting.

Plus, you have to give a scoring line a handful of games, 5-10, to gel.

I don't believe this crap split up the second and first line
Facts
1) #1 line has been scoring until teams put there top D pairing against them
2) side affect second line picks up slack 20 points the last three games
This thread is a joke someone should delete it I am done commenting not worth it :angry:

Well of course he isn't going to keep having 3 points every night, but it took around 5 games for the line to click so lets hope they can keep it up. I'd like to keep Bert in over Cleary when he gets back.
