Anyhow, the road to the playoffs is still a rough one, but certainly the Wings just proved they can beat teams when it matters. Of course, just like the Wings I've known for 15+ years, they certainly can lose to bad teams while beating the good ones. You get used to it after a while.

Btw, unrelated to funny poster, my cousin moved in with her boyfriend from Detroit a few weeks ago, and we were almost in tears laughing watching that 2-0 lead evaporate in seconds, followed by jumping up and down a lil' over an hour later as the boys pulled off another last second thievery of a crucial point.

Also, does LeftWinger remind anyone of Reilly? I swear they must be related. Little else but bashing with a side of doom-n-gloom.

What i find amazing are the standings this morning. Compare East and West conferences. Their 5, 6, 7, and 8 place teams would not even be near the playoffs if they were in the west. Their 3rd place team would be tied or battling for 8th in the west.

Goodbye Detroit. No playoffs this year. It was 20 years ago the last time we missed the playoffs. I am sick of the biased reffing, Mike Ilitch has to see this s***, why doesn't he say something!!!! Maybe he is getting paid off to keep quiet. I think its time to give Howard a rest. Looking like a rookie now a days. Granted he is playing just as good (or crappy if u may) as everyone else, but he doesn't need to get burned out. Once again, off season, only a select few are untouchable. This team is playing pathetic, at least we have the injuries to blame, oh wait, they're healthy. Make deals Holland or lose credibility.

Oh my god what a night! I went to the game with my other buddy whos a big wings fan, and diehardwingsfan I remember seeing your sisters sign during the pregame warmup! That`s way to crazy and damn did Flip ever play lights out. There was a GREAT turnout of Wing fans, and we all had a crazy ass time. Canuck fans were way quieter than usual last night, didn`t hear a single lets go canuck chant, or the wave or anything lol.

hey kira, yea it was insane and lucky you that you were right there infront when dats scored the beaut! infront on nashville, and yea all night long he had the puck on a string the moves omg and in person when you see that you get shivers watching that man dominate no joke, and yea flip was smiling thruout the warmup at the poster i was near my sister to, and yes flip is a wicked guy awesome personality and very polite indeed, his birthday he gets a big goal shorthanded 2 assists and 1st star of an very very imp. game...ps i also told him when i shook his hand that hey fil i still cant get over the goal you scored in game 2 of the 2008 stanley cup finals that superman goal and he was like i watch it all the time on youtube i started to laugh lol but yea ill put the pic up soon!

hey bud, it was awesome watta comeback i woke up this morning still stoked as if we won game 1 on a cup final or something the night prior lol, yea my sisters a huge huge flip fan and we met some wings after the game as there bus was leaving i got to meet flip and got a pic wiht him n talked for a minute or so ...so next time u go make sure you go to gate 6 right after the game you catch some of the wings n get ur jersey signed and a pic just remember that and if you got fb add me my names byron dafoe lol on fb

They acted like they were a couple of Vancouver fans who won a contest to broadcast the game. Kevin Weekes, in particular, always sounded so unprepared and the two of them don't have any chemistry at all.
