Ok, so I have been unable to see the Wings for the last 3 weeks. The first game I missed was the one where Lilja came back. Can anyone sum up how the Wings have played, how Lilja has done, who has been hot and cold, what has improved and what still needs to be worked on?

wings are 7-2-1(lost to van & calgary in reg, EDM in so) Datsyuk Mule and Homer have been our best players. Z and Flip other than tonight and a few games have been quiet. they need to work on letting in early goals and not waiting till the last second to score goals

Howard= Almost God like at times.
He looks a tad awkward sometimes still but he has played great since the Olympic break. He had a bad game against the Canucks(the whole team did) but he never let it bother him. His confidence is through the roof right now. Rebounds are looking a little better too.

He hasn't looked bad. It has been a year though so he does have some rust. He seems to have made Lebda/Ericsson better while playing with them. Definitely good to have him back and healthy.

Ericsson still looks terrible. He has been a healthy scratch on several occasions. Lebda has done far better in his place. Ericsson got playing time last night because Lebda and Meech were playing up front as substitutes for Cleary and Eaves. He was guilty of some giveaways and general laziness, as usual. Apparently he feels that moving at top speed, using his body and risking getting hit are things he should not be required to do.

Special teams have been really really good. I think the Wings PK especially has been amazing, they are really on a role and I think Lilja has something to do with that...
