Jimmy "I Just Made You Eat Crow" Howard...

I know I did.
The most popular choice among the Red Wings as to who would volunteer to play goalie – several Panthers did in their game – was Brendan Smith.

"He's pretty competitive and he seems to be good at everything," Justin Abdelkader said. "He'd volunteer himself."

Babcock was a bit more hesitant about Smith. "Yeah, yeah, just work on getting out of your zone," Babcock said

I believe Greg Moore started J-Ho back when Jimmy was at U Maine, J-Ho will always be what I call him, good enough for U Maine good enough for me!

"The more I know about people - the better I like my dog." - Mark Twain

"A wise man once told me, ‘Don’t argue with fools. Cause people from a distance can’t tell who is who'." Jay Z, Takeover

"When I was looking for a captain, I wanted a guy with the Red Wings crest tattooed on his chest," said former Detroit coach Jacques Demers, who named Yzerman captain in 1986. "Steve Yzerman was that guy."

“Told him if he wasn't ultra-competitive he couldn't come here. If he didn't bring it every day he couldn't come here, because he was going to hate it if he didn't, dislike the coach and dislike playing here.
“It's real straightforward. If you don't do it right, you're not happy here." Babcock

Just like the great George Lucas movie.

I agree. George Lucas cemented his reputation as the greatest director ever with that film.

I guess the nickname would work better if Howard actually played for the Ducks, but I still thought it was kind of funny.

However, it seems that most posters here aren't old enough to remember the movie, which is kind of scary, since I don't feel it was really that old.
According to my profile, my reputation is excellent. LOL.
