Gnredwing 10 Report post Posted March 31, 2010 I was looking at Jeremy Williams numbers in Grand Rapids and his other ahl and whl teams and they jump out at you. He currently leads the Griffins in goals (26) and in the whl has scored 52 and 41 goals. Does anybody think he will be a mainstay in the Wings organization or has he played so well because its not the nhl? Thoughts
ceebs 2 Report post Posted March 31, 2010 He couldnt make it in TO and the wings called up 3 guys ahead of him (abby, ritola, newbury). He is a good minor league player but will not play for the wings. His was only a 1 yr deal so I wouldnt be surprised if he's not back.
MacK_Attack 108 Report post Posted March 31, 2010 The guy is a good minor league scorer, but his total lack of a game outside of shooting the puck pretty much negates his chances of making it in the NHL. He simply contributes absolutely nothing if he's not scoring and he doesn't do it enough at the NHL level to warrant a spot.
superstarsingh 23 Report post Posted March 31, 2010 He only knows how to play in one of three zones which means he will likely never be a main stay in Detroit.
titanium2 867 Report post Posted March 31, 2010 Before the season started he said one of his goals was to learn to play on the defensive end. He figured, "What better organization to do that than Detroit?" He's obviously slipped back into the Jeremy Williams we already know.
