Well, it's hard to be any more out of position by all 4 players and the goaltender, but wow that was something else. Didnt show up all game, got a charity point, we better hope we can solve Boucher or Caron tommorow.

Didn't show up all game?

Trade Datsyuk and Lidstrom.

Bert played with some piss and vinegar and had 8 shots, but that line was pretty awful all night. The Datsyuk line and the Lidstrom pair got us the point, everyone needs to play better. We need Danny back to round out the lines, and for the Gods to let Ozzie have a good game tommorow.

How can you give up such an easy 4 on 4 goal? When it's 4 on 4, you basically play man to man defense?

How hard is that to figure out?

Let's put GMR on the ice! He has 360-degree vision!

Because all it takes is one shot for the other team to win all the time, it doesn't matter who we play. We can have 20,000 shots on goal in OT and the other team gets one shot and boom in our net.

Don't know what's so funny about that.

There was no reason for two guys to go after the puck and for Kronwall to be standing on the other side of the ice.

The forwards just need to take the D-men there.

Well it wasn't that great of an angle shot. If he had gotten in closer it may have been an issue but he just fired it almost as soon as he got it.

Point is that he shouldn't have been that open to begin with.

It was a good shot, but you can't really blame Howard for not stopping a guy that was skating in on him unabated.

I'm not going to "blame" Howard, but it was a stoppable shot. The defense was terrible and Howard wasn't "great" tonight. He needs a rest.

Howard was off his angle on the game-winner, but the other goals were no big deal -- pucks flying in through screens and bouncing in off defenders, it happens. The whole team was stifled badly by the forecheck and neutral zone play, whereas the Preds seemed to get a free pass out of their zone every breakout. Lucky to get a point out of it, but the Wings should be okay.
