And a low tolerance for them telling me how to lean
See the most important parts are the ones that are unseen
The Wings don't make you fly and the Crown don't make you king
Now God don't like ugly, ain't too happy bout pretty

yeah it's ridiculous... 14games that could have been wins instead... or aatleast half of them... 14 OT losses are way too much... wings don't have as many wins as the teams near them in the standings because of all the loser-pointsDetroit is now tied with Dallas for the most OT losses this season.

Loser-points, yah. They should become winners by going all-or-nothing and just forfeiting OT games rather than running the risk of losing them.

Awesome goal by Pav at the end. He was easily the best Wings player today, involved in all our goals. Not a great game for the team overall though.
I agree with the people who said Howie looks a bit tired. Good thing Ozzie will be in tomorrow, hopefully he steps up and shows we can count on him in Howie doesn't work out in the playoffs.

Too many guys around 6'0 or less out there who don't know how to check.
I mean, what the hell are Williams and Meech doing playing on checking lines? Can't wait till the playoffs so we can call up someone like Abby or May who are actual checkers. Also, Cleary's return should help.

We need to get some bigger forwards on our bottom two lines in the offseason.

Didn't the Wings out hit the Preds by an obscene margin?
Tonight was just a plain old loss. The Wings played disorganized, ineffective defense. They also got some bad bounces-- the first two goals deflected in off Wings players.
No one expected the Wings to enter the playoffs on a 12 game winning streak, did they?
I just hope they can rebound well tomorrow.

Thanks TeeMan!

There is small difference when you got hit by 5'11" - 190lbs and 6'2" 220+lbs

Hudler should fix that issue next season.

I was talking about the team in general, and no just today.
We must be the smallest team in the league as far as the 3rd and 4th lines go.
It'd be good to get guys like Williams and Meech off those lines and to replace them with bigger forwards who can actually wear the defense down instead of floating around aimlessly.

When Datsyuk scored that tying goal. That place went absolutely insane, my ears are still ringing. It was well worth the sloppiness of the game.
Flip was pretty bad today, Lidstrom was awesome, Datsyuk was magnificent & Rafalski would have been terrible if he hadn't scored.
Overall, great experience and I can't wait to go to another game.
Good news for us all >
The Red Wings have four games left and need any combination of their own two points or two points lost by Calgary for a playoff spot.

IF they HIT, problem is, with the Wings a little push is about all they can manage.... I've seen high school players check harder, and it's not just ***** Williams.

That must be why Bertuzzi is such a better physical player than Helm, right?
You don't have to be huge to be a strong physical presence. Our single most dangerous hitter is 5'11" but I've never heard people say they want to cross the ice with their head down when Kronwall is out.

The one difference that we unfortunately might see in the long run is with injuries to the smaller players that like to play like that. Helm seems like he's pretty sturdy so far though, which is encouraging. That must be why Bertuzzi is such a better physical player than Helm, right?
