Wooo! Lidstrom = playoffs. We won't miss it as long as he plays.

This has been a crazy season. So many ups and downs, so many close games, so many OT/SO losses, so much nervousness for every game.. even though we're still battling for position I will be pretty calm for these last couple of games. Vancouver, San Jose, Chicago, Phoenix.. they're all pretty equal in my book.

I look forward to the playoffs, it's going to be very fun. This team could go all the way if everything clicks for them. If Franzen and Zetterberg turn it on like they have the last two playoff runs. If Datsyuk keeps playing like he's doing and Homer stays healthy. If streaky Bert gets hot and Filppula starts shooting the puck. If Williams is benched in favor of Abdelkader. If Howard isn't worn out or buckles under the pressure.

A lot of if's, and realistically I see a 1st or 2nd round exit for this team. That wouldn't make me terribly sad, atleast not if they go down fighting, because honestly: 3 SCFs in a row? That would be something. Regardless, I'm proud as hell of what this team has done this year. A rebuilding year that still has us making the playoffs with good chances of making some noise? 29 other franchises wish they had it that good.

I think I'm happier with the hawks then the nucks, though I think we can take either.

Id rather face the Canucks,their known for their playoff choking,especially with Luongo in net.

They played just as few "like they should" in the regular season last year... and we ended up in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals. This team will be fine, your ridiculous pessimism aside.

Great to see the Wings made it again. It was definitely a spot I hadn't been in in a long time, watching the games to see exactly what the Wings needed to do to make it into the playoffs.

As for how they'll do, I have no idea. I feel like this team could get on a run and go to the Cup finals, or they could look out of gas and uninterested and be first round fodder. Here's hoping for the former. I'm just glad they overcame all this adversity and made it in!

Yes, congratulations are definitely deserving. I remember MANY a times throughout this season that I sincerely doubt they make it but since the Olympics, they have been playing with passion, Dats' wristers alone are a thing of beauty to watch.
