Because when they play like they should, like during most of the 07/08 season, and especially in that playoff they are the most fantastic team...
ahh so you only like the Wings when they are good.
that clears up everything. You're a bandwagon. why am I surprised?
Get a clue already.

You shouldn't be. He's completely and utterly spoiled and he showed up immediately after they won in '08. He has been pissing, moaning and whining about any non-dominating performance ever since he got here.

Yeah good luck with that... 1st series against chicago or a super hot vancouver team with the massive travelling and s***...
Superhot Vancouver? Didn't they just get shelled 8-3?
Chicago who have a starting goalies worse than our backup?
Yes, very frightening.

That's not even funny.

3 months is a long break. People make to big of a deal out of it.
I agree with you. Yeah they played a lot of hockey, but it ain't like they get 2 weeks off. They get 3 months off. lol. The human body recovers quick. Mental stress is gone in that amount of time.
This was so funny I had to set it as my sig.

I mean, the only team we've completely owned all year out of the playoff teams is San Jose, and I don't think that would be an easy series for us by any stretch.
No one wants to play the Wings, but that doesn't mean we have some clear advantage over anybody.

I think I'd rather face San Jose or Chicago or Vancouver right off the hop before they get into a groove and save Phoenix and weaker teams later when a skilled, steady team can beat them (See Detroit vs. Chicago last playoffs).

Wait, this isn't a blueadams line combo thread, hold the drinks.
His last one was absurd. For his playoff roster he took out Miller, the guy who has really solidified the PK.

Wings in four games against the Hawks and make it a turkey shoot for Hossa!

realistically we're the hottest team down this final stretch.
realistically we just clinched a playoff birth with a season that has had just about everyone on the roster on long term injury reserve at some point or another, largely all at the same time.
realistically the Wings are as dangerous as anyone in the playoffs.

You can take him ....... out to dinner after the Hawks lose in the first round because they give up 5 goals a game.

I'm pretty new here and I already don't like Mindfly. What the hell is the point of all that negative thinking.

Agree. It does say a lot when possibly our fittest player all season was Todd Bertuzzi!
