NOT TRYING TO START A FLAME SESSION:

I would have thought this game would have gone to Ozzie and let J-ho have the Chicago game.

Any word on another Ozzie start (aka will he start the Chi game)?

As much as I'd like to see Ozzie not such a damn gold backup going into the playoffs, it looks like it must be Howie or bust in the playoffs. Although, there's a good chance that no matter how cold Ozzie is, if he gets an oppurtunity, the playoffs is where he'd finally run with it.

I have a feeling it will depend on what matchup Babcock wants in the 1st round and if he thinks we have to win against Chicago or not.

BJ felt they got robbed last game perhaps rightfully so...they want their payback, now, in the last game between the two teams... in their barn... wings lose... they have nothing to play for... even though as babcock said, would've been nice to get 100pts for the GM but that's not enough motivation, the veterans think wednesday/thursday can't come soon enough, jackets win 4-3

This time you gotta agree on it though... nothing speaks for wings this game...

While I'm never inclined to bet against the Wings, especially when they are winning as much as they have been lately, I would not be all that surprised if the scenario you posited came to fruition. The Blue Jackets suck, but this is about as big of a game for them as they could possibly have at this time of year after the season they have had. Looking beyond just lat game and you'll see that, while the record shows that we have dominated them all year (besides the 9-1 thrashing) every damn game between us has been close. I have to assume that they are going to be playing balls-to-the-wall for their pride tonight, and the Wings had better come ready to play. Hopefully the defense is a little more reliable than it has been the past few games.

Just to be safe, my prediction:

9-1 Wings

From detnews:

Babcock said Jimmy Howard would start in goal tonight. He said he wouldn't announce his goalie for the season finale in Chicago Sunday until after the game tonight.
