These suspensions are pretty pointless. How many suspensions have been handed out this season and still this kind of stuff continues to happen? There HAS to be a better way to send a message to the players.

They're doing this to put off illusions of conspiracy so when Crosby or Malkin does something suspension-worthy and they get pardoned, people can't say 'Pens players never get suspended!'

Also, he's missing games vs. the ISLANDERS and the THRASHERS. Relatively inconsequential. Think they'd do this if it were high-end/high viewer matchups?

I feel that 2 games is a bit harsh for him. 1 game would've been enough, it's not like he's a repeat offender or anything that. I've seen worse stuff happen and players end up with only a penalty.

I wouldn't mind it if Detroit signed him in the summer...
