last game of the regular season! do we wanna keep goin with this game thru the playoffs? anyways, here are my picks:

Detroit:

Holmstrom
Stuart
Franzen

Chicago:

Toews

Money on the board:  $40

Thanks for a great season, guys.  You exceeded expectations and have given us something to look forward to as the long summer approaches.

 

And next year we get to start in October, like hockey is SUPPOSED to.

Bumping to the front page so people will see it, but to add actual content, I'll make a suggestion.

If we do this in the playoffs, maybe we could do each round as a new game, keeping the running total just for that round. Then we'd have four champs (hopefully). It would make for good bragging rights.

Money on the board:  $40

Yeah i think that will be a good idea, something needs changed because to be honest i am getting a bit bored with this game.

For the playoffs, I think you should atleast start the scoring from scratch. Give everyone a chance to participate.
It's a fun game but I wonder if there aren't changes that could make it more interesting.. most people pick atleast two of Z/Pav/Mule. Maybe if we picked just one guy from each team?

Playoffs are a new ball game so it makes sense to start over - that would also encourage new participants.

I agree with starting over in the playoffs. As for your picks, maybe we keep 3 players, but it has to be two forwards and one defensemen and the two forwards have to be on two different lines.

Don't worry about what 2 forwards you're allowed to pick. Lines change too much for that.
