Guest Crymson Report post Posted April 10, 2010 So, Boston is playing for a playoff spot. They need either a win or an OT loss to clinch a playoff spot. It was a close game for the first period; nobody scored, though the Bruins were peppering Ward. Then the Bruins scored three shorthanded goals on the same penalty kill, in a span of 1:06. Kira 451 Report post Posted April 10, 2010 In all the years I've watched hockey, I don't ever remember that happening. How did it happen? Cam Ward became temporarily invisible??? Sure seemed that way.
Zetts 236 Report post Posted April 10, 2010 (edited) Ouch. Can you imagine what would happen on these boards if that ever happened against the Wings? Edited April 10, 2010 by Zetts 1 majoturc reacted to this

Guest Crymson Report post Posted April 10, 2010 Ouch. Can you imagine what would happen on these boards if that ever happened against the Wings? We'd all need to rush to the fallout shelters in order to survive the explosion. In other news, Erik Cole just scored for the Canes.

Guest Crymson Report post Posted April 10, 2010 (edited) Carolina scores again. 3:00 left in the 2nd. Aaaand Boston got robbed. A shot on Ward generated a rebound that another Bruin banged in, but the ref had already blown the whistle way too early. Lidstrom for Norris 0 Report post Posted April 10, 2010 (edited) That should have been a goal. I hate when dumbass refs blow the whistle half a second after they "lose sight" of the puck Edited April 10, 2010 by Lidstrom for Norris

jeff48109 474 Report post Posted April 10, 2010 is the NHL the only sport where play can actually stop BEFORE the whistle is blown? i think in every other league and sport you play to the whistle right?
