Zetterberg roofdaddy backhand from minimal angle on Luongo at home versus the Canucks

Also Datsyuk's steal behind the nashville goal then dangle-dangle rinne/ellis for quite a long time

IMO best goal of this regular season was scored by Drew Miller (in Bobby Orr-style) vs Tampa Bay

That was a great one. For me, any of these two from Dats would be fine:

Nice thread

This was a beauty too:

It won't let me post any more vids but the one Eaves scored recently going solo and taking it to the net.

Eaves's shoot-out goal the other night.

Those Datsyuk ones are nice just because they show how well-rounded he is.

I still feel that some of Homer's goals are great to watch - some of the deflected ones because it's so hard to do, but even the slappers he scores from a way out, because they're just so rare.

Speaking of Z's backhand...

This is exactly what I thought about as soon as I saw the other vid, too.

This one might not be the best of the year, but dammit if it isn't fun to watch.

When I read the OP, Drew Miller's Orr-like goal is the first that came to mind, and then Bert's spinning SO goal. But my favorite (even though it's from 08/09) is the pass from Pavel to Z:

This was the only video I could find. Sorry for the poor quality.

I'll go with Dasyuk's SO goal on Antti Niemi

Poll going up soon?

We should get the 10 best and then have a vote (or however many we're allowed to poll) Top 10 could be (in no order)

1. Pavel Datsyuk - Shootout Goal vs. Chicago 1/17/2010

2. Todd Bertuzzi - Shootout Goal vs. Chicago 1/17/2010

3. Henrik Zetterberg - Backhand Roofer vs. Vancouver 11/12/2009

4. Drew Miller - Superman Goal vs. Tampa Bay 12/17/2009

5. Henrik Zetterberg - Backhand Buzzer Beater vs. Vancouver 3/20/2010

6. Brian Rafalski - 0.2 Magic vs. Edmonton 3/19/2010

7. Pavel Datsyuk - Robbery Dangle Dangle vs. Nashvville 3/5/2010

8. Patrick Eaves - Shootout Magician vs. Nashville 3/27/2010

9. ???

10. ???

Trying not to be biased, but I think that has to get mentioned. He had a horrible angle against the goalie and made something out of nothing.

Agreed- sweet goal by Flip! I think it would make the top 10 best Wings goals.

Dats has had a few that makes you feel like you are a bobblehead! One of the most unreal goals was the tee-up by Lids and Homers perfect redirection. The timing to do that is unreal. Its so hard to pick one because there are so many that make your head spin!

I don't really like the goal from Miller where he superman's it. It looks cool and all, but he "flew" after he scored. I like Franzen's goal better where he's actually in the air when he soots the puck. Not this year but I think this goal didn't get enough attention. My favorite from this year would be Hank's buzzer beater!

Easily Datsyuk's. The Miller one is overrated. The puck was off his stick well before he went airborne. The two biggest highlights in that goal are the crazy pass reception by Miller and Smith making a bad mistake and getting himself burned.
